Trusting even when…
Oh, those times of trials. So difficult, aren’t they?
But do we trust the Lord in those heart-wrenching times? Truly trust Him?
Jesus said, “All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!” (Mark 9:23b Amp)
To believe is to trust, which means to have faith.
That means, trusting even when…
…your soul is in burning agony from life’s fiery darts
…brokenness shatters the core of your being
…tides of support and encouragement ebb away
…the enemy invades your territory
…finances and relationships tear at your heart.
All the Lord asks is that you trust in Him. If you love Him, you will trust Him.
“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.” (Deut. 10:12 Msg)
Trusting even when…
When those dark, sleepless nights loom, there are songs of hope in the night, as David sang, “But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.” (Ps. 42:8 NLT)
Despite the outward appearance of the afflictions, there are songs in the night. Inward songs that praise the Lord for His continuous working and care.
And when you continue on in trust...
…believing all will be well even though the darkness hovers
…having the mustard-seed-mountain-crushing persuasion of truth
…then this is the means of success, the victory, that conquers the world…your faith, your trust!
And in your desolation, the Lord will give you waters in your wilderness and rivers in your desert. (Is. 43:20 Ampc) From there, He will speak tenderly to your heart and cause you to be refreshed.
In the midst of your valley of trouble, He will set you in a thriving vineyard and will give you an entrance to the expectancy of hope. And you shall sing from there as in the days of better times.
If your trust has waned and sidetracked you, God is always a Hosea in search of all the straying Gomers, bringing them back home under His mantel of covenant marriage and into His loving arms.
He is always seeking, always caring, always wooing, always loving.
Always trust Him!
Always praise Him!
He’s working for you!
Don’t give up! Continue on. Trusting even when!
May you always trust in the Lord…Lynn
