Just some random thoughts for your day. Maybe to ignite a spark of inspiration or encouragement.
“They recognized that [the disciples] had been with Jesus…
“They realized then that they had been companions of Jesus…
“Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.” (Acts 4:13b AMPC/GNT/TPT)
Have you or I spent enough time in Jesus’ presence that others recognize we have been with Him?
Feel like giving up? Claim victory! His weapons are yours. His Word is yours. His Spirit is yours. His victory is yours!
God looks on with pleasure and favor from His dwelling place and He sees your every tear, hears your every cry for help, delights in your every praise.
“Gratitude breaks forth before the bounty has arrived, in the assurance that it is certainly on the way. The song of victory is sung before the battle has been fought.”* Just like Jehoshaphat. (2 Chron. 20:21-22)
You don’t need to run after God. Just sit still; He’ll come to you.
You, my friend, are God’s delight. The aroma of your nearness drifts into your Beloved’s presence, filling the chamber of His lodging with your sweet perfume.
You are His precious love that He prizes above everything. The mere mention of your name sets His heart pounding.
Your prayers are as the sweet-smelling sacrifice of holy incense that rise to the throne room and linger at His feet.
Did you know God sings over you? “He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zeph. 3:17b NKJV)
The Lord says to us all, “I have so much to say that would gladden My children’s hearts, that would make them strong, that would guide them to victory, that would bring them peace. But they misunderstand that they are to be like Me, the Great I Am, not the Great I Do.
“So much more of My will would be accomplished if they would just be still and know that I Am. The being still is the preparation time. Prepare by being still. Prepare the way of the Lord.
“There are some of My children wandering around helpless as orphans, Fatherless. All are My children, yet not all have found their way Home to their Father. I need you to help shine a light on their way so they may find the place where they were meant to dwell.
“Love them all the way Home.”
May the Lord bless you with a special touch of His presence…Lynn
