It is when my mind, my body, and my soul become weak
that I find the Lord is my Strength.

that I find the Lord walking on the water to be my Life Saver.

It is when I am in want of necessities
that I find the Lord shows up as my Provider.
(Jehovah jireh: the Lord will see/will provide; Gen. 22:14)
It is when I have nothing left to hold onto
that I find the Lord is truly my Hope.
(Jehovah tiqvah: the Lord my hope [literally my cord of attachment and expectation]; Ps. 71:5)
It is when uncertainty plagues my soul with questions
that I find the Lord is my Counselor.
(Jehovah ya’ats: the Lord is my counselor [those who advise, consult, resolve]; Ps. 16:7)
It is when chaos swirls around me with storms of difficulties
that I find the Lord to be my source of Peace.
(Jehovah shalom: the Lord my peace [welfare, health, prosperity, completeness, soundness, safety, quiet, tranquility, contentment]; Is. 9:6; Ps. 29:11)
It is when the enemy slings his arrows of worldly temptations at me
that I find the Lord to be my Shield.
(Jehovah magen: the Lord my shield/buckler; Ps. 28:7)
It is when I have gone astray and wander off as a lost sheep
that I find the Lord is my Shepherd.
(Jehovah ra’ah/rohi: the Lord my Shepherd; Ps. 23:1)
It is when tears leave trails down my cheeks from the heartaches of life
that I find the Lord is my Comforter.
(Parakletos: comforter, helper, intercessor, consoler, as called to one’s side; John 16:7)
It is when I can no longer tolerate my situation
that I find the Lord is my Deliverer, my escape.
(Jehovah palat: the Lord my Deliverer; Ps. 18:2)
It is when the world spins around me and I want to run and hide
that I find the Lord is my Rock, my Refuge.
(Jehovah cela: the Lord my Rock; Ps. 18:2)
It is when I am in the darkness of confusion, indecision, or despair
that I find the Lord is the Light on my path and the Light in my soul.
(Jehovah ‘owr/ori: the Lord my light; Ps. 27:1)
It is when I find myself in the midst of a battle
that I find the Lord is my Defender, the Lord of heaven’s warriors.
(Jehovah tsebaoth: the Lord of hosts [the God of battles]; Ps. 84:3)
It is when I find I am alone as I walk the paths of life
that I find the Lord is there, with me always.
(Jehovah shammah: the Lord is there/present; Ezek. 38:45)
It is when I am in need of assistance, some immediate help
that I find the Lord is my Help.

It is when I cry out for forgiveness of my disobedience
that I find the Lord is my Redeemer.

It is when the music of my soul strikes cords of harshness
that I find the Lord is my Song, my Praise.

In all that I am, in all that I do, in all that is around me, the Lord is my King and my God forever. And He is yours!
