Our hearts ache deep within us.
So we weep.
We shake our heads.
Our minds are numbed.
Because the world spits out its wicked inhabitants of hatred, who cruelly sabotage the lives of others.
And we weep for the crippled, the injured, the lifeless.
We pray for them. We pray for their families.
And we weep yet again.
And we pray some more, asking God the hard questions of why.
Why does it have to be this way?
Why is there so much hatred in the world?
And we pray once again…
For comfort and peace for the hurting.
And we pray for the unknowing ones, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see,” (2 Kings 6:17a NKJV) see their way to eternal freedom.
For the blood has been shed on the cross. And the Light has been released.
So we pray that the power of evil to blind eyes be broken. And the veil of darkness be removed from the eyes of those who refuse to see the Light.
We pray Your will be done, Lord. And we pray in Jesus’ name. So be it!
